Today Samsung announced that it is prepared to bring several new handsets to the U.S. market that run its TouchWiz user interface. TouchWiz has customizable widgets that let users personalize their phone. The icons provide a one-touch access point to a user’s favorite and most commonly used applications and features. Widgets are organized within the widget tray located on the left side of the home screen of the phone. By expanding the widget tray, users can drag and drop widgets onto the phone's home screen. Samsung Mobile expects to launch several full touchscreen devices with TouchWiz technology in late 2008 and early 2009.

Samsung Delve

U.S. Cellular will be one of the first carriers in the US to offer a samsung phone with the TouchWiz II interface. It will be called the Delve, and will be very similar to the samsung instinct from sprint but with the new user interface! 😁
T-Mobile will also have the Samsung Behold, or T919 that uses the touchwiz interface. It was released in Europe as the F480 and in Italy as the Tocco. Look for this on T-Mo November 10, 2008

Good technology, poorly named...

... makes me think that touching the phone will make me want to go to the bathroom 🤣.
