HP has announced two new Windows Mobile devices in its iPAQ range of smartphones. Shared features include tri-band HSPA 900/1900/2100MHz and quad-band GSM/EDGE radios. Both phones also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, and assisted GPS. A 3.1 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash comes with both. They support microSD cards up to 8GB and use microUSB for charging and data transfer. Both offer a host of business software.

  • iPAQ Data Messenger: This phone has a large touch display with a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
  • iPAQ Voice Messenger: This phone trades the large touch screen for Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard, a smaller screen and 20-key QWERTY keypad.
