Today Motorola introduced a new high-end fashion phone called the Aura. The Aura is made of stainless steel and tungsten, and the bearings of the swivel were made by Swiss watch makers. The Aura has a circular display with 300dpi resolution, displays 16 million colors, and is covered by scratch-resistant 62-carat sapphire crystal. It has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, as well as Bluetooth v2.0+EDR and A2DP. It has a 2 megapixel fixed-focus camera that also captures video, as well as a media player and messaging capabilities. The Aura uses an open source browser and will be available worldwide in the fourth quarter.

No 3G?!

Motorola is now accepting pre-orders for the Aura, with a price tag of 1,999.00 Two grand, and it doesn't even have 3G?! Motorols makes some bizarre design decisions sometimes.

V70 Refresh?

This looks like a new version of the old V70. I loved that phone. They should make one without the 'bling' for those of us with taste.
I agree. The v70 has always been one of my favorite phones. In fact, I still prefer the look of the v70 compared to this reincarnation.
I agree... have you seen the pricetag on this POS. Motorola has it listed at $2k !! I could purchase a few decent unlocked PDA phones for that.
