Documents seen on the FCC site provide a few details about the newly approved HTC Dream. The documents confirm that it will have quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, WCDMA 1700, Bluetooth and WiFi. That the phone supports the 1700 MHz band earmarks it for T-Mobile. HTC and T-Mobile have both recently confirmed to the press that they will be releasing a new phone based on Google's Android platform by the end of the year. The timing of this approval lends credence to rumors that the HTC Dream will run Android, though the FCC documents themselves to not mention this. Other nuggets spotted in the documents mention a camera of unknown quality and a slot for microSD cards. The Dream will be a slider phone, and will include a jog ball. No pictures of the device were available.
