Verizon Wireless Agrees to Settle ETF Lawsuits

Today Verizon Wireless agreed to pay the sum of $21 million to settle a class action lawsuit over early termination fees. The FCC has said that it is exploring the idea of having a governmental body set federal regulations for ETFs. This concession by Verizon Wireless could lead to other network operators, some of which are facing similar lawsuits, to follow its lead in order to avert further legal action from consumers.
