HP to Begin Shipping iPAQ 900 Smartphone

First announced in the third quarter of 2007, HP has set June 30 as the worldwide ship date of its iPAQ 900 Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone. The 900 has tri-band UMTS/HSDPA and quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, as well as GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3 megapixel camera.

Battery Life....

This thing is going to have an 1800mAh battery on it. That would give it the biggest battery I've seen on a phone to date (at least with the li-ion).

For a comparison, the Blackberry 8810 uses an 1100mAh battery for 240 minutes of talk. Its an increase of 63% on the battery -- which will be huge considering it appears to be a GSM phone. So this could potentially have roughly 390 minutes of talk time... 6.5 hours of talk. Lasting a whole day with power-use. This phone could be a real hit.

Better than iPhone?

Kinda looks that way from the specs on HP's website.
Nothing beats the iPhone, dood!! Listen to the fanboys on this forum!
