A Sprint spokesperson confirmed that the company will not be launching its Xohm WiMax network this month as originally planned. Because it has not finalized a partnership with Clearwire, Intel and others, Sprint did not make any major Xohm announcements at CTIA as expected. The spokesperson said that the launch for Xohm will instead occur later this year, and did not provide any more details than that. He did say that the delay is not related to technology issues, but that Sprint wants the launch of Xohm to meet the high expectations set for its release.
