Today Opera Software announced a new beta version of the Opera Mini browser. The 4.1 beta offers a number of improvements, including up to 50% faster page loads. It also automatically suggests URL completions and lets you immediately find the content you want with a new search feature. Opera Mini 4.1 will let you save web pages so they can be viewed when the phone is offline, and it can now be used to manage uploads and downloads from and to your phone. The beta version is free to download and use.

Still slow....

TeaShark beta is faster IMO.
of course it's still slow, you are downloading everything from the page. If you go to a mobile page which most WAP browsers can handle.

You have mouse and a zoom option. My coworker has a RIMs Pearl and loves the browser.

why??

i rather them hurry up and finish Opera mobile 9.5 instead!
Opera Mobile has absolutely nothing to do with Opera Mini. They are made by two different teams at Opera, and are very different products. Since I personally hate Windows Mobile, I love the enhancements they are putting into Opera Mini.
