Motorola Joins LTE Testing Organization

Motorola has committed to share its experience with and knowledge of OFDM-based technologies with the LTE/System Architecture Evolution (SAE) Trial Initiative (LSTI). The LSTI is focused on bringing LTE systems to market as quickly as possible. Motorola will bring the multiple antenna technology used in its WiMax systems, as well as its experience with cellular chipsets and networking equipment to the LSTI. Verizon Wireless will be using some of Motorola's technology in its upcoming LTE trials later this year.
