Virgin Mobile Revamps Calling Plans

Today Virgin Mobile USA changed up some of its pre-paid and monthly calling plans. With pre-paid plans, $20 per month buys 200 minutes, $30 buys 400 minutes and $50 buys 1000 minutes per month. Unused minutes will roll forward up to 5000 total banked minutes. These plans can also ad messaging options. For $5, you get 200 messages, $10 gets 1000 messages, and $20 gets unlimited messaging, including email and IM. On the post-paid plans, $25 gets 200 anytime minutes and 500 night/weekend minutes; $35 gets 300 anytime and 1000 night/weekend minutes; and $50 gets 400 anytime and unlimited night/weekend minutes. Post-paid plans receive reduced rates on messaging, and can get 1000 messages for $5 per month, and unlimited for $10 per month.
