Today Skyfire announced its new mobile web browser for smartphones. Skyfire differs itself from existing mobile browsers by providing a full desktop-like experience on a smartphone. It can interact with any web site using any web technology, and it fully supports Flash, Ajax, Java and other web technologies. Similar to Palm's Blazer browser, it uses a proxy to format web pages, but it works far faster and renders full web pages as they appear on the desktop. Skyfire is releasing a free beta version of the browser for Windows Mobile devices, and will make a version for Symbian and other platforms available in the coming months.
