Today YouTube announced a new mobile site that will allow users to access most of the site's millions of videos directly from their mobile phones. In order to watch YouTube videos on your mobile phone, it will need to be able to stream video and access a 3G network. The new mobile site will also have personalization and community features that weren't available before. Users can set up links to favorite videos as well as manage channel subscriptions. Unlimited data plans are highly recommended.

Works flawlessly on my LG Voyager in 1XRRT Coverage

You can look at all of the videos posted on youtube now. Good looking youtube. I have EVDO at work and at my school but do not have it at my house. I tested it out and it worked great at my house using 1XRTT. 😁 😁

Yes! I can finally watch "Chocolate Rain" on my phone!

Really? Who cares if you have YouTube on your phone? Is any viral video that important? It is stupid. all this is going to do is encourage people to upload their lame videos that NO ONE watches. Honestly people...
Does it hurt you in anyway to have YouTube available for mobile phones? I mean because if it does then you should protest for having them mandate you access YouTube on your phone. Moron

Ugh still no AT&T 8525 support

I just tried the mobile youtube with my AT&T 8525 and it pulls up the Real Player video player and tells me it doesn't support the file type.

I've installed the TCPMP video player and checked all the file associations but it still won't load on the Mobile Yourtube site.

👿
Any help would be appreciated 🤭
...
Google it or go to XDA-Developers; Real Player or TCPMP won't work, but the HTC Streaming Media player will.

Samething for pretty much any HTC device bought from a carrier(most of the carrier branded ones won't have this pre-installed.

Is anybody out there having issues viewing the clips? Im using an LG9900 enV with verizon and I keep getting the error "malformed url" when I try to watch the clips. Anyway to fix this or anyone else having this trouble?
I am having the same problem with my LG vx9400. I think it is a Verizon thing. They do not want you to use anything that streams video, like if you wanted to use a slingbox. Verizon says it congests the network.

I guess they want you to only use...
