S. Dakota Gets Its First 3G Coverage from Alltel

Alltel is the first wireless network operator to provide 3G wireless broadband coverage and services in the state of South Dakota. Alltel announced that it has extended its EV-DO network to Aberdeen, Brookings, Huron, Mitchell, Pierre, Sioux Falls, Rapid City, Yankton and Watertown. Alltel's Wireless Internet service costs $60 per month for unlimited use. Alltel subscribers in the covered areas will now also have access to its 3G services, such as Axcess TV and XM radio.
