Documents seen on the FCC site today show the new Sidekick Slide manufactured by Motorola and likely bound for T-Mobile. The most noticeable aspect of the Sidekick Slide is that the screen slides up rather than spins around to reveal the five-line QWERTY keyboard underneath. Otherwise the form factor is similar in concept to the Sidekick 3. It has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios, as well as Bluetooth 1.2. It packs a 1.3 Megapixel camera, music player, and microSD slot for added storage. It also has a host of messaging applications, including email and instant messaging. Based on screen shots in the user manual, the Slide has a refined interface and higher resolution screen. It is compatible with T-Mobile's MyFaves program. No word on when it will go on sale or how much it will cost.
