Verizon Offers Up Its First Rev. A ExpressCard

Verizon follows Sprint by offering the Novatel Wireless V740 ExpressCard. It is the first ExpressCard to operate on Verizon Wireless' EV-DO Rev. A wireless broadband network. The V740 supports ExpressCard 34/54 interfaces, as well as USB 2.0. It is compatible with both Windows and Apple computers and is available for $179 starting March 30.

Finally a wireless card for an Apple Laptop!

Its about time...this should have been out a long time ago...PC cards are outdated and its about time verizon stepped up to the plate with something fresh in the realm of wireless internet technology.

I've got about 20-30 U720's on sprint on macs right now, most store reps don't know you can do this, but just recently they've added support on the Sprint website.

Verizon was just following sprint in this.
