Windows Mobile 6 Coming To US

As expected, a number of Windows Mobile 6 devices were announced today at 3GSM from a range of manufacturers. Although a multitude were announced, only a few are likely to come to American shores. In addition to the previously-announced Motorola Q q9 and Samsung i760, they are:

Additionally, T-Mobile USA will offer a free, user-installable Windows Mobile 6 upgrade to Dash owners in the second quarter. Palm is expected to offer an update for the Treo 750 as well.

Windows Mobile 6 Upgrade

The main Article shows T-Mobile will have an upgrade for the Dash... anybody know if they will have an upgrade for the MDA as well?
No, the MDA, and SDA will not have the WM6 upgrade, since their will be updated devices soon for them. No, none of the devices out yet, will replace the MDA. You might not see it til CTIA next month.

The Dash is getting the WM6 upgrade cause it is...

Wifi Used as Access Point

Anyone know if wifi on the phones with HSDPA and UTMS can be used as an access point? That would be perfect with an unlimited data plan and laptop computer.
windows mobile 6 has a new feature called "internet sharing" which lets you connect the phone as a modem to a vista laptop pretty easily. i'm not sure if it works over wifi though.
