Motorola this week confirmed previous rumors and photos of a MOTORAZR maxx for Verizon by making a manual available for download from the company's public web site. The manual confirms many of the features previously seen in pictures as well as revealing a few new aspects. The MOTORAZR maxx Ve is a VCAST EV-DO phone with stereo Bluetooth and MicroSD slot. It features a 2 megapixel autofocus camera with a large flash and a new 2 stage shutter button located where the internal camera would be on the HSDPA version. This allows you to press the button halfway to focus the camera and then all the way to snap the picture, even when the phone is closed. In addition, the manual indicates that this phone will be among the first Motorola handset to feature Windows Media Player 11 and Plays For Sure integration. It also features a totally redesigned music player. This could indicate Verizon is shifting away from its own music service and allowing users to use their own like Cingular is doing. The manual makes no mention of downloading songs over the air.
