Everyone Predicts Apple Phone To Hit Tomorrow

Both the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, two publications not known for speculation, have published information about what they believe to be the rumored phone from Apple. Based on patents and various reports, the Times believes the phone could be much more than a simple device with music playback, possibly adding a touch screen, advanced computer-like functionality and new casing materials. The Wall Street Journal adds that Cingular will be the service provider for the phone. Both publications mention tomorrow's Macworld keynote as a likely platform to launch the device but are sure to state that the phone could be announced separately, some time later.

Why only Cingular?

Why does this have to be only on Cingular? Their service bites in my area. I've had excellent reception with Sprint, plus, I get 25% off my bill AND a bunch of free goodies.

This bites.

I guess I'll wait and hope hope it'll jump over to Sprint within the year.
And it's announced. Not which carrier, but it's there.
Forget about Sprint. Sprint operates on an entirely incompatible network.

The other potentially compatible major U.S. network for an unlocked iPhone would be T-Mobile USA. However, Apple signed a multi-year agreement with Cingular making Cingular ...

Curious to see if Apple can introduce a cell phone that is groundbreaking in appeal.

im so tired of ipod ipod phones ipod planes lol ipod bed ipod became the razor of music every motorola phone now is thin oh boy this so stupid zzzzzzz 😡 thank god for zune its going to break ipod to the side
I look forward to seeing what this phone will look like and what features it will have. IPod is everywhere but that is only because Apple does a great job with style, functionality, and innovation. Hopefully that will translate into a great phone
