T-Mobile Tests MediaFLO Too

The President of MediaFLO, Gina Lombardi, has revealed that the company is in trials with T-Mobile for its mobile TV service. Because MediaFLO is a Qualcomm-owned company, it has been assumed it would be the choice of CDMA carriers. Sprint is already testing the service under the brand VUE. However since digital TV is a different technology from cellular transmissions, it is open to GSM carriers as well. T-Mobile has not revealed the extent of the trials, nor have they announced which technology the they will ultimately choose for digital TV. T-Mobile has also been a test partner of DVB-H provider Modeo.
