Sony Ericsson is reportedly ready to launch its first foray into the slim phone market. A candybar style phone code named Ai is supposed to be only 9.4 mm thick, beating out the SLVR and bringing Sony Ericsson in line with some of Samsung's slimmest efforts. Ai is rumored to be a 3G Walkman phone on par with the W850 including features such as a 2 Megapixel camera, M2 memory card slot, and new walkman software that allows over the air downloads. It will come in silver or black and may have a rubberized back like the KRZR. Sony Ericsson has not confirmed these rumors nor have there been any hints as to when Ai may be announced.

Looks pretty sweet!!!!
that photo jibes with everything the reuters report and rumors have said about the phone. slim, 3g (you can see a front facing camera) and connector on the side of the phone (not bottom)
Looks pretty cool but very sharp edges. Not literally of course but I think it would look a cooler if it had rounded corners. Otherwise it's going to be kind of like talking to an oversize credit card. 😉

Still. Ugly.
Isn't it amazing how most people can't take a decent clear picture if their life depended on it.
