Cingular today announced it's new music service as well as a new music enabled phone called SYNC. As expected, the Cingular has partnered with Yahoo! Music and Napster subscription services, allowing users to load sings from a PC onto a compatible handset. Cingular has also partnered with eMusic to provide Sony Ericsson Walkman phones with music as well. Cingular will offer sign up bonuses with each of these services for users who are not already members. Although Cingular will not offer over the air downloads to handsets, they have integrated a way for users to shop for songs on their handsets and have them downloaded to their PC. Cingular will also offer music videos that can be purchased over the air as well as 25 XM radio streams that users can listen to for $9 per month. Napster and Yahoo! services are available on the LG CU500, HTC 3125 and the SYNC, previously revealed as the Samsung A707. Yesterday FCC documents revealed the Nokia N75 will also be compatible.
