Motorola today announced a new car kit which features stereo Bluetooth (A2DP) in addition to hands free calling. The T605 integrates into a car's built-in stereo system and can be used to take calls hands-free while driving. Past systems from Motorola used the car stereo as the music source and would mute it during a call. The T605 adds the ability to play music from A2DP-enabled phones or music players and pause that music when a call comes in. Like after market car stereos, the T605 requires professional installation to integrate with the car's systems. Sony offers a high-end car stereo with similar capabilities, but this is one of the first add-on kits that can be used with existing car stereos.
