The FCC today approved the Motorola Q, though no new information was revealed in the filing. The documents confirm all the facts previously revealed about the Q. It will be a CDMA EV-DO handset running Windows Mobile 5 for Smartphone. The Q features a QWERTY keyboard, Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel camera and Mini SD slot. All documents in the filing continue to carefully avoid mentioning a carrier for the device, but it is known to be coming to Verizon. At CTIA both Microsoft and Motorola employees told Phone Scoop the software and hardware for the Q was close to finalized. Now that the Q has received the green light from the FCC, there should be no more road blocks left to prevent the launch of this phone.
