Vodafone Keeping Verizon Stake

Vodafone CEO Arun Sarin confirmed the company has no intention of selling its stake in Verizon Wireless. "We are happy with our position in the U.S. and have no current plans to exit," he said in a conference call. After months of hinting, Verizon recently made an offer to buy Vodafone's stake in Verizon Wireless for $40 billion. Vodafone owns 45% of the carrier.
