Motorola today announced it will launch the PEBL in 4 colors in addition to the black model currently available. In the second quarter, the PEBL will be available in moss green, orange, teal blue and pink. As with the RAZR's colorful makeover, all other specs remain the same. The PEBL features a VGA camera, Bluetooth and speaker independent voice dialing in a sleek, rounded shape with a unique hinge.

who cares?

I just want to know who really cares? I've had at least 15 different phones over the years, and Motorola makes the worst! So what if they come in colors?
When you work in an Oh So Trendy mall where many young people want the newest and the "COO"est then this comes in as an instant classic and a fat juicy pay check for the rest of us! 😁
Hello Moto

ugly...

the razr doesn't look bad in different colors, but these are horrible... the black sleek look is great, why ruin a good thing??? my eyes hurt looking at them. 😈
well motorola started a trend, and an awesome trend at that. i kinda like the fact that motorola is providing more color options in this very restrictive wireless world... even if the colors are ugly pastel colors 😁

I like the orange one.
When nearly every piece of electronics is black or silver or a combination of black & silver, it's nice to see some different options.

The thing is UGLY.Don't mind the colors but It looks like a flattened 551 to me. No memory card either. I won't be getting one. Will stick with my Nokia and Sony Ericcson. 😉

Nice looking phone, but...

1. You'd look like a poser getting the overhyped overpriced phone.
2. The 4 letter Motorola acronyms or codenames have gotten old really quick. I wish Motorola would just grow up.
3. VGA camera... wtf? .3 megapixel cameras were acceptable in phones this expensive 2 and a half years ago, but now it's just pathetic. Especially considering that this phone isn't as compact as the RAZR or SLVR. When they make the CDMA version, I hope they'll atleast throw in a 3 megapixel.

oohhh how ga...i wont go there!!!!!!!!!!

motorola is killing me with these color versions of phones. so much customers are asking if every phone i sell comes in a different color. NO YOU CANT GET A TREO 650 IN PINK!!!!! 👿 gosh! the nerve

not only are they taking money away from the bootleg gods of ebay (the only place besides actually being in china you can find a color faceplate for any phone) but they are charging $50 bucks plus for nothing more than a different color 😡. then they turn the smooth looking already overpriced pebl into fruity skittles/ m&m looking piece of crap. whats next motorola?..........a chameleon slvr 🙄
Well as long as you're tossing out ideas, I'd like to see Moto make a copper SLVR.
...
That is actually a good idea. Having a RAZR that changes colors depending on what angle you look at it. Try to tell me that thousands of kids wont be trying to have their parents buy it for them.
