Updated Motorola has begun working with carriers to replace defective GSM RAZRs received by carriers in the month February. There was an issue with a component in some of handsets shipped last month which can cause them to randomly drop calls and reboot. Carriers that received the affected phones have been notified. Phone Scoop has received reports that many Cingular and T-Mobile stores have pulled their stock and suspended sales of all RAZRs. Alan Buddendeck, Motorola's Global Director of Public Relations, today said that Motorola has fixed the problem and will have RAZRs back on store shelves "in a matter of days."
