For the second week in a row, details surfaced today on the FCC web site about new, unannounced Samsung phones for North America. Both are clamshell CDMA phones with internal antennas and speakerphone.
SCH-A950: A music-oriented phone with a spinning scroll wheel on the front, built-in stereo speakers, and a TransFlash memory card slot. Features of this dual-band digital phone also include Bluetooth, a megapixel camera, and dual color displays. Model numbering and references to "Get It Now" in the user manual point to Verizon as a potential carrier. According to the Bluetooth SIG web site, the phone will only support the headset, handsfree and serial primary profiles, not DUN or OBEX.
SPH-A820: A more basic tri-mode phone with PTT and a large monochrome outer display. Model numbering and references to "PCS Vision" and "ReadyLink" in the user manual point to Sprint as a potential carrier. Apparently a successor to the RL-A760, upgrading to an internal antenna.
