Panasonic Officially Exits US Market

Panasonic has officially closed its U.S. mobile phone operations. The company last sold a handset through a carrier almost two years ago with AT&T Wireless. After the merger, Cingular did not pick up any of Panasonic's new models. Since then Panasonic has sold a few new models through its US web store, however the sales apparently did not justify the continued effort of converting and testing handsets for the US market. Panasonic continues to manufacture and sell phones for Europe and Japan.

panasonic allure/

Anyone ever use this phone? Worste phone ever!!
I completely disagree. I used that phone for over a year and absolutely loved it. wish they'd make something similar for CDM. Well, obviously that's not going to happen anymore!
The Versio was a much worse phone. I felt really bad selling it to customers. But if they get a "free" phone than that's their problem. My roommate had the Allure. I know he liked his a lot.
