Face Plate

image

A main cover of a phone (usually the front face) that is specifically designed to be swapped by the user as a way of customizing the phone. Many wireless phone models offer changeable, colored faceplates, though not all.

There is also an aftermarket for changing covers of phones that were not designed to be changed by the user. This usually requires special tools and voids the warranty.
