MIMO

Multiple Input, Multiple Output

Wireless radio technology that uses multiple antennas on the transmit and/or receive end to improve performance.

MIMO is a broad category of technologies, not a specific standard.

Different types of MIMO technology can provide different specific benefits, such as boosting data rate (speed) and/or improving RF signal performance.
