UPnP

Universal Plug and Play

UPnP is a set of standards designed to make it easier to connect digital devices using wired and wireless home networks and perform common tasks. UPnP is designed to be implemented in mobile phones, PCs, PC peripherals, TVs, home A/V gear, and many other types of home devices.

In a mobile phone, UPnP typically makes it easier to connect a phone with a PC or TV and share files media (photos, video, music) via a Wi-Fi wireless connection.
