A guy called in twice (i'm on prepaid res on night shift, so we always get the call back) asking me to give him a reach-around while he's watching porn.
I can't start to fathom what a "reach-around" is, but in the context, i don't even want to.

I cant write anything...well I wrote one poem but it took me 2 years to get it the way I wanted it.

well, your first post wasn't bad. It was incredibly simplist in a very japanese kind of way, but simplicity never was a bad thing. You only need to take some time and write down what comes to your mind, and before you know you'll get something that sounds nice on the tongue.
Continue posting stuff like that, and before you know you will run out of easy words and phrasings, and then you can really start researching. And don't care what the others says. Its always nice to know that some people appreciate your writing, but writing is in itself the most intimate thing next to sex. So do something that you like...

I took Phil-100. Enjoyed it, but it wasn't my thing. My roomate was a philosophy major, so I got the best of both worlds. Interesting conversations and a decent book collection in his room without actually having to write papers or attend class 🙂

yeah... thats the way it should be. I was taking it as a certificate (I really want to do my Law) and I hated it. One teacher one had the balls to tell me I couldn't be called intelligent if I didn't know Latin. I'm not making this up. It pretty much did it for me.
Enthusiasts should read about it. But unless you want to teach it, don't take it in university. It's a waste of time.

Well as far as Law and the practice of goes Latin is encountered with regularity and I can see the advantage to knowing it. But to state you cant be called intelligent without knowing it is ludicrous. That man was a pretentious a@@hole.
On a side note. Have you have ever encountered anyone in the field of architecture... oh my god. The most pretentious group of people you would ever want to meet. Reading an article written by an architect is the definition of torture. They routinely make up words or use them out of context or in their loosest manner. Try it some time.. if your into that kind of masochistic thing

yeah, i know. Actually, I think my neighbour is the only nice architect alive (generalisation, here I come!!!), and even him has some horrible spout of farting from his nose (french expression that kinda translate badly).
But yeah. I agree. I was actually surprised by the Law student body. I really thought I would walk right in hell. Most of them will be snob, yeah, but they keep to themselves.
Anyway. It'll probably be a year or so before I go back to university. Then i'll be the worst law shark there is!!!
