Korea, CDMA technology, and the USA

I've often dreamed about having a beautiful Nokia or Panasonic or a bevy of other GSM phones. Their form and function and list of features a mile long make me drool. But alas, I am trapped in the big V's CDMA sh*tstorm of technology; where they want you to be happy with non-functional phone features and buy it now. And today a ray of hope shine for me...is Korea's CDMA technology compatible with our's? Could a CDMA handset produced for their market work in our's, like the "unlocked" phones of GSM?

I mean, check this baby out:

Could I have this brought over there and activated?
