The Netbook of Honeycomb tablets
Having worked with a Xoom and really looking forward to buying this tablet 10.2" Epad Android 2.2 1GHz 4GB WIFI Tablet zt 180 NewI am struck by the ability to customize the layout look and functionality of and Android tablet (the ability to do this with an Android phone puts it way ahead of the best that apple can do)
I think what ever software issues there are with Android tablets (I have noticed force closes on the Xoom with software that was not optimized for tablets) will get solved (having upgraded the Samsung Galaxy S from eclair to froyo and seen all my software issues disappear I know this to be true). So do not let the reviewers'Android 2.3 8 inch Google 1080P HDMI Support Flash 10.1 Gravity Sensor Tablet PC bias towards apple disuade you from jumping into the world of Android. In fact I would pretty much ignore anything from Eric unless you are an apple devotee looking for reinforcement as to how "special" and "magical" the next apple product (which is in fact no different than the last) is.
I I think Eric is just too in love with apple to be an effective tablet reviewer.10.1" Multitouch Capacitive Tablet PC with Windows 7 N450No offense to the gentleman in question but having tried the ipad 1 and 2 and the motorola zoom and read his other reviews I do not think he is qualified to be reviewing anything but apple products because by default he will define what apple does as right and if anyone does anything different and it's defined as wrong...and subsequently if they do what apple does they're copying.
