Vietnam SIM Card

I am going to Vietnam tomorrow. I was told to buy a SIM card there to put in my Motorola V365. I have service through AT&T. How do I know if my phone will take another SIM card (is my phone locked)? What benefit is there to get a SIM card there? I called AT&T. No help.

Thanks for any insight.

Verify your handset is 100% unlocked. The Vietnamese SIM will give you a local # in Vietnam with much lower rated. Make sure your phone has the right frequencies too.
