spain roaming

Just got back from spain and my phone worked fine. And you can use prepaid sims in it as well, contrary to what they told me at the store.

What phone and what carrier? makes no sense without the rest of the info...

I was in Spain recently for about a month and in the cities, Movistar and Vodafone ES are the best. In more rural parts of the country Movistar and Eamena work better than Vodafone. Make sure that your phone can work on the 900 system as well that will help lots.

I went to Spain for two and a half weeks and used the global feature from T-Mobile. I made calls to the US and they cost $0.99. While in Spain I would roam on Movistar mostly. I spent almost all of my time outside Madrid, in Galicia, Leon, Asturias, Extremadura, Castilla, and Andalucia and did not have any problems with the signal.
