Used to live in Venezuela for a LONG time but I don't remember which frequencies they used. It seems like around the Caracas area they had limited GSM and then for the remainder of the country it was primarily TDMA or CDMA (I can't remember at the moment). Anybody have any info??? Thanks.

A good source for that type of information is the GSM Association web site. They have a database of literally every GSM network in the world, including frequencies, many with coverage maps and other info. Here is their info for Venezuela:

...which shows that they have three active GSM 900 networks. They probably have TDMA and/or CDMA networks as well, but for travel and roaming, GSM is almost always easier to deal with.
