Tricked Out

hey ive been trying trying to figure out how to prevent the phone from going into hibernation mode, i tried playing with the auto power save, screen saver, backlight etc, but it keeps shutting down the screen after a certain amount of time, this also makes it so i have no idea if the phone is charging unless i open the phone and if i decide to check what time it is on my phone i have to press a button or open the phone cuz it blacks out the screens, any help would be appreciated thanks
