Motorola E318 software for using a cable

I purchased the software phonetools version4.1 for downloading to my phone from a PC. The software was supposed to be for this phone, but when installing it it software doesn't recognize my phone! :-(

Any suggestions

Update the phonetools program and go to motodev to download motorola drivers
