The government isn’t pushing Nextel off anywhere. This re-banding plan is just to make sure that there will be enough spectrum for the SMR providers without having any more interference. Perhaps you should read about it.
Last you heard; “Sprint had to be completely out of Nextel’s spectrum by 2012”. WHAT?!!!
