Motorola v810 and connection options

G'day everyone;

Have a short inquiry here... I'm with a company that is an offshoot of US Cellular, and for the past several months, the carrier, Eloqui Wireless, has been telling it's customers that the Motorola v810 can be connected to a PC and the pictures taken with it be downloaded to a computer. A trial with the official Moto software and data kit shows this to be impossible with the v810. Is there any way that one can hack the v810's drivers in order to access it like a digital camera (ala connecting directly to its onboard memory). Unlike an actual US Cellular or Verizon v810, this phone is not supposed to be locked-out or some other such fiddle-faddle. Motorola swears up and down that you can download from it if it is indeed not ...
