Development

I have a couple of Motorola A780 phones and planning to do some research, specifically on the Bluetooth functionality. A couple of questions:
1. Does this phone provide the capability to compile a Linux OS and download the OS to the phone with the functionality I would like to put?
2. What hardware interface does the phone provide to download?
3. How can the OS be saved to flash?
