X-2 is pretty sad.
But I played that game when I was 15 or 16 and was really into "dark" chicks so I was more focused on Paine being hot.
I tried to play Crisis Core but I don't really like the gameplay at all. I know the story is super depressing though.
The end of FFX itself made me tear up too. Not so much Tidus disappearing, that was sad but the part that got me is right after beating the last boss when Auron basically says, "Whelp, I'm done. Peace guys." Auron was my favorite character so that sucked.
