If you need a hotel stay in carson city or reno. Both are really close to tahoe and there are carpools, shuttle buses and crap like that. Carson is closer to south lake tahoe. Uhhh....I dunno man all the resorts are real nice. There are deals you can get where you can get passes to multiple for one price. Look up sierra at tahoe. Sierra at tahoe and northstar are owned by the same people I think. and they have one more.
