I would agree with you, she does not sound happy and if it comes down to her relationship holding her back then it's not healthy from her point of view. A relationship when one person is the parent to another child is a whole other can of beans. I tried it once and it was an EPIC FAIL on my part. I was stupid and thought it would work.

To be in a relationship your feelings should always be first, that might be greedy at first but that is how you will know what the other person is worth. You can not get an eight ball break with every relationship,sometimes you have to break a few times, sometimes you have to scratch or if it is really bad the cue ball and 8 ball go down on the break =(
