Yeah. I agree, after a period of time of being away from each other. Working on yourself, etc. I'm sure they can. Just from personal experience, I've never known anyone to stay good friends with their exes. I've only had 2 and I don't talk to either of them except for the occasional happy birthday. But yeah I think it's possible.
