I got the basic set for $299.99. So far, I really dig it. There's a lot of little stuff that makes it great. I can play my games while SK wants to watch the bigscreen TV, for instance, and vice-versa. The gamepad also works as a universal TV/set-top remote so it's the only device you need to play.

New Super Mario Bros. U is awesome if you like old-school Mario (which I do). Trine 2 is basically a graphical powerhouse (beyond what the 360 and PS3 are capable of, according to the developer).

I really like the way the community aspect is built in to certain games, and adding friends / playing online is just as easy as it is on Xbox Live, but free.

All in all, I'm very happy with it.
