Aldridge is a really solid player. He should be a perennial all-star. I'd take him over love honestly. Him and love are both mainly pick n pop players, they like to hit jumpers. Aldridge plays a lot closer to the rim than love though and he's a better post player imo. Can't shoot the three but he's a better defensive player. He's not an awesome on ball defender but he's a really good help defender. He holds his own. Portland has one of the best starting 5s in the league but their bench is awful. Even worse than the lakers bench.
