Starbucks ground coffee in a coffee maker is cheaper than a Kcup. You run into issues with the Starbucks preground if you only drink one cup a day, in which case, the disposable Kcup is cheaper. I hate the use once and toss mentality that made the Kcup a viable product. Similar to the use once and flush toilet wand. Because that's what we need, a more disposable society. Oh, btw, Starbucks provides liturature on how to recycle grounds and good gardening practices. They will also provide you with bags of used grounds for gardening if you request at your local shop.
