I'm not saying the lakers can't be really good or maybe even great. I'm just saying as of right this very moment, the heat are the only team in the nba that could hang with some of the elite teams of the 80s and 90s. I'm taking into account coaching and team chemistry not just the roster. They also have a way better bench than the lakers. The 85 lakers would run these lakers out of the gym. They actually had good role players and bench players. Kobe wouldn't punish them too bad because michael cooper would be guarding him.
